• The Kugelbake is the landmark of Cuxhaven. There, directly on the world’s busiest shipping lane, you can watch the various ships as they pass by Cuxhaven.
• A trip to the island of Neuwerk is a unique experience. You travel there in a very traditional way with the Wattwagen (mudflat wagon) across the tidal flats.
• Those who prefer to walk, are fit, and don’t mind the weather can also reach the island of Neuwerk on foot depending on the tide. Or you can make it comfortable and simply take a ship.
• The Kurpark, which includes a small zoo and a nice playground for children, is only a few hundred meters and a few minutes’ walk from our house.
• You can also reach the beautiful and extensive Döse sandy beach in just a few minutes on foot.
• Doctors, the post office, shopping facilities, many restaurants, and everything you need for a successful holiday can be found in the immediate vicinity thanks to our central location.
