Location and amenities
More vacation is not possible: Our house is located in the heart of Döse, the popular spa resort of the North Sea spa town Cuxhaven, with the magnificent sandy beach directly on the North Sea.
With our 17 guest rooms, our recreation area, and modern breakfast room, everything you need as our guest is offered so that your stay in Cuxhaven on the North Sea will be exactly as you wish.

Our history
Gästehaus Janßen has a long tradition in Cuxhaven.
In 1964, Alice Fock founded the family business in the first generation. Eike and Bernd Janßen took over the house in the second generation and thereby laid the foundation for a family accommodation where guests always felt welcome.
For more than five decades, the Gästehaus was run and developed with great dedication until it finally passed into the hands of the third generation – Anne and Lars Janßen – in 2018.
Since then, we have continued the tradition with passion: personal, warm, and always with the aim of providing our guests with a pleasant stay in Cuxhaven.
Our goal remains unchanged – a place of hospitality where you feel at home from the very first moment.
